Atlas and I are out on another adventure together conquering the beautiful hike to Radium Lake. Our original plan was to hike up to the top of Mount Webb but due to the rain storm we had a few days ago there was far to much snow for us to safely ascend to the top. We hike about 18km with an elevation gain of 1500 meters to and from Radium Lake. Lots of fungi, rivers and views! We hope you enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed making it!
We spent our Saturday exploring more of the west coast and boy was it worth it on this one. The parking lot is located at a dam site which was interesting all on its own! From there the hike begins a gradual climb up and around into the bowl where Watersprite lake is located in all its glory. There is a hut that is available to use under normal circumstances but it is currently closed.
Its effectiveness can change the whole tone of a session. There is nothing worse than trying to grind up, the lid becoming stuck and then prying it off to drop it and have the whole compartment spill onto the ground. I mean, I have been there and I don’t wish that on anyone and imagine what your friends would say!
